The Call
Franklin Square & Munson Fire Department is dedicated to keeping our community safe from fires and other emergencies. Our team of dedicated volunteers is always ready to respond to any call, day or night. We provide a wide range of firefighting services, including fire suppression, rescue, hazardous materials response, and more. Our mission is to protect our community and keep everyone safe.

WHAT IF NO ONE ANSWERED THE CALL?
Every day in our community, members of the Franklin Square & Munson Fire Department answer the call of our families, friends and neighbors who are in need of assistance. From auto accidents to heart attacks, from house fires to carbon monoxide alarms, we are there to protect lives and property.
Emergency responders are a special type of people, with many different reasons for answering the call of duty. Some like the challenges and the adrenaline rush, while others like to sharpen their emergency skills and techniques.
Becoming a volunteer emergency responder can be the most rewarding experience of your life and allows you to reach out to someone in need. Together with the Franklin Square & Munson Fire Department, you can ensure that there is always someone to “answer the call.”
Community Outreach
We believe that building strong relationships with our community is essential for effective firefighting. That's why we're committed to outreach and engagement. We sponsor community events, participate in parades and festivals, and offer station tours and demonstrations. We want to be an active and engaged part of our community.
